LOWER SELMAH, a post settlement in Hants co., N.S., on Cobequid Bay, 8 miles from Green Oaks Station, on the Midland RR. branch of the Dominion Atlantic Ry. Maitland is its port. It contains 2 churches (Congregational and Presbyterian), and 1 saw and shingle mill. Pop., about 200.
