PRAZE, or Praze-an-beeble, is a village 1 mile northwest, with a station on the Helston branch of the Great Western railway. There are Wesleyan and Free Methodist chapels. A yearly cattle and pleasure fair is held here on the 15th July, and a feast is also held on the nearest Sunday to Candlemas (2nd February).
