Zelah History
ZELAH township is 1 ¾ miles north-north-west from St. Allen, and is situated on the main road to Truro : it consists of a straggling village extending from Two Burrow Hill to Mount Pleasant, a distance of 1 ½ miles. C. H. T. Hawkins esq. is lord of the manor and principal landowner. There are Wesleyan and Bible Christian chapels. The Mission church and Sunday school at Zelah was erected in 1883, at which weekday and Sunday services are held.
