Thrintoft History
THRINTOFT is a small straggling village and tow ship in this parish, under one mile north from Ainderb, railway station. The Earl of Harewood K.C.V.O. who is lord of the manor, and Captain A. J. Fife, of Langton Hall, are the principal landowners. The area is 1,230 acres of land and 10 of water; rateable value, £1,321; the population in 1911 was 126.
