AINDERBY-MYERS-WITH-HOLTBY (or AINDERBY-MIERS-WITH-HOLTBY) is a joint township, 3 ½ miles north from Bedale, in Bedale union. Holtby Hall, the seat of Mrs. Hutton-Squire, is a mansion standing in a park of 70 acres, on the west side of Leeming Lane. The Duke of Leeds and Mrs. Hutton-Squire, who is lady of the manor, are the landowners. The area is 953 acres; rateable value, £1,130; the population in 1911 was 68.
