Berry Brow History

Berry Brow, on the river Holme, is a village in the township of Almondbury, within the municipal and parliamentary borough of Huddersfield, about 2 miles south from Huddersfield, and within the parish of Armitage Bridge, of which it is the most populous part. The Lancashire and Yorkshire railway has a station close to the village. The Wesleyans and Methodist New Connexion have each a chapel here. Here is a reservoir to supply the inhabitants with water.
