Howe History
HOWE is a township in the parish of Pickhill, 1 ¾ miles south-east from Sinderby station. Lt.-Col. John I’Anson J.P. of Howe Hall, is the sole landowner. The area in 398 acres of land and 4 of water; rateable value, £550; the population in 1911 was 48.
