Nunwick (or Nunwick-with-Howgrave) is a township, in the parishes of Kirklington and Ripon, comprising an area of 938 acres; Marquis of Ripon is lord of the manor and principal landowner; rateable value, £1,918; and a population in 1871 of 31.
