Belle Vue History

Belle Vue is also in this township and forms a suburb of Wakefield, on the Doncaster and Wakefield turnpike road, about 1 mile from the latter place. St. Catherine’s chapel, consecrated September 30th. 1876, is a plain stone building consisting of chancel, nave and bell turret, with a stained east window. There is a Wesleyan chapel. Here are two maltings.
