The OnoGraph API provides access to OnoGraph services. They accept a name input and return predictions of either nationality, gender or location. The output is in JSON format. APIs for language and ethnicity are in production. Each API can be called with a single name or a batch of up to 1,000 names. The latter is recommended to reduce the execution time of large lookups.

Using the API requires basic programming knowledge. If you do not posses that you can obtain the same information by using the CSV/Excel upload facility.

Accessing the API requires an OnoGraph account. You can sign up for an account by clicking 'Try For Free' at the top-right of this page. Free accounts may use up to one-hundred queries per day.
