The name means 'let us give it a try'. The name was the circumstances surrounding the birth of the first bearer Sampson Agbadua Alao. The mother had lost many children before him. When he was just a couple of months he was always very ill. On one occasion the mother had concluded that he will die like the earlier children. Not giving up on him they named him Agbadua. He later turned out to be a great man. His children and grand children bear the name.
