The Al Abriyeen tribe and the singular (al Abri). one of the large tribes in Oman, as they are attributed by Sheikh Ibrahim bin Saeed Al-Abri, where he said: It is no secret to anyone who has the slightest knowledge of genealogy that this tribe is one of the most ancient tribes and the most generous place of the heart of the Al Uzd Yemeni al Qahtaniya tribes. Attributed to the father Abra ibn Zahran bin Kaab bin Harith bin Ka'ab bin Abdullah bin Malik bin Nasr bin Al Azd bin Malik bin Zaid bin Kahlan bin Saba'a bin Yashjub bin Yarub bin Qahtan bin Aabber (Prophet, Hood peace be upon him).
The members of this tribe are located in at Al Hamra state in the interior region of Sultanate of Oman, which is the center of the tribe. They are also located in Bahla, Nizwam, Ibri and in Buraimi, they are also in the states of Rustaq, Al Awabi and Nakhl in the South Al Batinah region,, as well as in the States of North Al Batinah, Shinas, Sohar, Saham, Al Suwaq, Al Masna'a and Barka, also in the different cities of Muscat Governorate.
The sons of Imran, who are available in the Al-Rahbien al Qahtaniyah, and in the Siyabien al Adnaniyah, are originally from the al Abri tribe. The Sons of Imran who remained in the state of al Hamra.
