From Auby, near Douay. Everard de Albd, 12th cent., witnessed a charter of Studley, Oxford (Mon. Angl. i. 486). This is a different family from that of Dalby, as appears by the arms. Robert de Albi was of Normandy 1180 (Magni Rotuli Scaccarii Normanniae).
