Ralph de St. A. held offices in Normandy 1195 (Magni Rotuli Scaccarii Normanniae). Almaric de St. A. witnessed a charter of Henry III., 1235 (Mon. i. 841). Almaric de St. A. was summoned to Parliament as a baron 1299; and his descendants were barons till 1508. Younger branches survived.
