All Blondia names in the world are traceable to Petrus Blondia, son of Ynghels Blondia(u), most likely born around 1645 somewhere in the north of France of the south of what's currently French Flanders. The Blontia variant is due to a spelling mistake in a register in the city of Aalter, Belgium.
