His son Hamon was father of William Botterill, mentioned in England, 1130 (Rot. Pip.). He m. Alice, co-heir of Robert Corbet, sister of Annora, mother of Reginald, Earl of Cornwall by Henry I. This marriage accounts for the settlement of this family in Cornwall, ancestors of the Barons Botreaux.
