A variant of Beveridge, which see. current in Fife. John Berrage in Wester Tillochie, parish of Kinross, 1675 (St. Andrews), and Helen Berrage in Alloa, 1728 (Stirling). Caution was found for John Berrage in Kinglassie, 1686 (RPC., 3. ser. XII, p. 495). John Berrige in Freeland, 1711 (Dunblane). John Benidge in Ibrox 1941.
