Thomas Broik and Alexander Broik appear as tenants of Casteltoune, Arndmanoch, 1539 (ibid., XVII, p. 680). William Brok was witness in Glasgow, 1554 (Protocols, I), Robert Brok appears in Tilleaiblit, parish of Naver, 1611 (Brechin), Christian Brock in Dunfubert, parish of Edzell, 1625 (St. Andrews), and Waiter Brock, burgess of Glasgow, 1619 (Burgesses).
