John de Caldicotys, dominus de Hoton, was a charter witness in 1361 (PSAS., XXIII, p. 30), and the seal of Cristiane de Caldecottis is appended to the renunciation by her of the lands of Grayden and Sympryne in 1424 (Macdonald, 310).
