I am a spainard who has got Canca as second surname. It appears to be that Spanish-talking Canca all have ancestry in Tolox, a small town in Andalusia, (southernmost part). However, Tolox once had a repopulation from Galicia, in the north. Why this surname is also common in Turkey and South Africa is something that I don't know, it may just be a linguistic coinciden because the surname seems to be recent.
