In 1238—39 he appears as Magister Petrus de Castro Theodorici precentor Dunkeldensis (Inchcolm, p. 16; Inchaffray, p. 57). Castrum. Theodorici is Chateau Thierry on the Marne, and Castro Terry is an imperfect Latinization of the name.
