CASTRO TERRI: Magister Petro de Castro terri, canon of Dunkeld, witnesses charters by Gilbert, bishop of Dunkeld (RD., p. 78; Inchcolm, p. 13) and Clement, bishop of Dunblane, 1234 (Inchaffray, p. 53). In 1238—39 he appears as Magister Petrus de Castro Theodorici precentor Dunkeldensis (Inchcolm, p. 16; Inchaffray, p. 57). Castrum. Theodorici is Chateau Thierry on the Marne, and Castro Terry is an imperfect Latinization of the name.
