The surname Chiozzi has a Tuscan stock, in the Florentine and in the Arezzo area, and one in Campania in Naples. Chiosini, almost unique, would seem Piedmontese, as well as the less rare Chioso. The surname Chiozzi was 'changed' to Chiosi a few generations back.
