William Cloustatht, roithman (councilman) in Stenness, 1500 (REO., p. 75), Mawnis of Clustay was one of an inquest at Sabay, 1522, Huchone or Hutcheon Clouchstay and his daughters are mentioned, 1527, and George Clouston of that Ilk in 1607 (ibid., p. 95,177, 209).
