Thomas, son of William de Collilaw, granted eight acres in the territory of Ulkilstoun to the Abbey of Dryburgh in the thirteenth century (Dryburgh, 131).

COLLIELAW: From the lands of Collielaw near Oxton, Berwickshire. The tofts and crofts of William de Colilawe in Vlfkelyston (now Oxton) are mentioned c. 1208 as landmarks (Kelso, p. 202). Thomas, son of William de Collilaw, granted eight acres in the territory of Ulkilstoun to the Abbey of Dryburgh in the thirteenth century (Dryburgh, 131). Aleyn de Colilawe of the county of Edneburk rendered homage in 1296, and a writ was issued to the sheriff of Berwick to restore to him his forfeited lands (Bain, II, 832, p. 211).
