COREHOUSE: From Corehouse in the parish of Lesmahagow, Lanarkshire, the old spelling of which was Corrokys. Jordan de Currokes had a dispute with the bishop of Glasgow anent the lands of Stobhou, c. 1232 (REG., p. 108—110). Elene de Corrokys received a gift in 1266 (ER., I, p. 27), and Reginald de Corrokys resigned his land of Fyncorrokys to the Abbey of Kelso, 1290 (Kelso, p. 165).
