Nicol Corour of Berwickshire rendered homage, 1296 (Bain, II, p. 207), and in 1305 Walter le Corour accounted for the ward of Selkirk in the Forest (ibid., E. 440). William Curour was assizer in Edinurgh, 1402 (Egidit, p. 38). William Currour, charter witness in Edinburgh, 1425 (RMS., II, 25) may be William Curroure who held lands near Edinburgh in the same year (Soltre, p. 294). William Currour or Courrour, merchant of Scotland, had safe conducts into England, 1408 and 1410 (Bain, tv, 764,798). Johannes Currour was burgess of Perth, 1440 (RD., p. 297), and John Currour, burgess of Banff, 1487 (RAA., II, 311). John Currour of Logymegil witnessed a retour of service of Neis Ramsay in the barony of Bamff, 1507 (Bamff, p. 45), George Currour was charged with "trublance of the toune" of Aberdeen, 1512 (CRA., p. 443), and William Currour was factor for the abbot of Jedburgh, 1560 (ER, XIX, p. 115).
