The meaning is deer park. My father is originally from South East London. He was the only son of the last Derham in our family tree. His father had one brother who had no children. My father had only 2 daughters, both of us married and therefore changed our names, but having divorced after 10 years of marriage, I changed surname of my children to Derham by deed poll, so there are now 5 of us bearing the surname Derham.
