In Germany there are two main roots, that are far enough apart. One in Hessia in the town of Wetzlar and its surroundings where Ditterts can be found in straight kinships back to ~1600s, and secondly the region around the Altvater mountain (Silesia/Glatz, Monrovia, and Bohemia).
