Peter de Dribur witnessed a charter by Walter, son of Alan, c. 1208—18 (RMP., p. 18), and c. 1215 he appears as Magister Peter de Driburght (Cambus., 46). Helen Dryburgh in Wemyss was accused of witchcraft, 1626 (RPC., 2. ser. I, p. 275), and John Dryburgh was servitor to the Lord Sinclair in 1680 (Dysart,, p. 54). Dribrucht 1550, Driburch 1484.
