There were Dugdales of Great Harwood, Blackburn, last century (A.). The name is still in Clitheroe and Blackburn. Dugdale is a North Staffordshire hamlet.
The family of Dugdale long resided in Lancashire (L.), and further reference will be found under that county. John Dugdale was rector of St. Dyonis in the city of York in the reign of Charles II. (D.).
