DUNDOWER: Richard de Dunnydover, witness in Dumbarton, 1271 (RMP., p. 192), as Sir Ricardus de Dunidouir witnessed a sale of land in Glasgow c. 1280—90 (REG., p. 198). Roger de Dundener filius et heres Ricardi de Dundener resigned the lands of Dalmore into the hands of the earl of Levenax c. 1280 (Levenax, p. 42). Stephen de Domdouyr, rector of the church of Coneueth, who witnessed a charter by William de Lamburton, bishop of St. Andrews, 1300 (RPSA., p. 120) appears again in 1317 as Stephen de Domdouer, 'camerarius Scotie' (SCM., V, p. 9, 11), though his name does not appear in the ordinary lists of great chamberlains. He was also a canon of the church of Glasgow (REG., p. 220).
