His son Francois Junis Fernald, b. 1533 immigrated to Bristol, England.

A few generations later, a knight: Sir William Fernald of Bristol, England, b. 1574.

His son Reginald (or Renald) Fernald, b. 1595 immigrated to Portsmouth, New Hampshire.

His son John Fernald moved to Kittery, Maine. There are many Fernalds now in both New Hampshire and Maine.
