FILDAR: John Fyldar was chaplain in the parish church of Soltray, 1511 (Soltre, p. 82), payment was made to Andrew Feildar in Aberdeen for "keiping and temporing of thare knok," 1539 (CRA., p. 166), Patrick Fyldar had a lease "de decimis gerbalibus de Inueresk" between 1557—85 (RD., p. 492), and Thomas Fyldar was bergess of Haddington, 1575 (Soltre, p. 134).
