XII, p. 383), John Fork and Gavin Fork took the Test in Paisley in the same year (ibid., XI, p. 496), and John Fork, minister of Killellan parish, Renfrew, died c. 1730. Perhaps an Englishing of Irish O'Gabhalaigh, 'descendant of Gabhalach,' the name of an old Westmeath family.
