GILLEGLAS: Colin Gilglas or Colin, son of Gilleglas (Gilleglasse, or Gylleglasse) appeers as witness in three Atholl charters of 1284-c. 1290 (REM., p. 446,447, 470; Athole, p. 705). As Colinus filius Gilleglas he is witness in an Inchaffray charter of 1287 (Inchaffray, p. 111,294). A son of one Gylglass rented part of the lands of Parcy, 1463 (Cupar-Angus, I, p. 136).
