Goodbehere Surname Definition:

This surname is derived from the name of an ancestor. 'the son of Godber,' which perhaps is an abbreviation of Godbert. That the surname is taken from the cry 'God be here' is absurd. Of course the spelling has become imitative, which has itself helped to suggest such an origin.
