Cuthbert, c. 1130—33 (Raine, 18). Adam fitz Grimbaud (the NF. form of the name) of the county of Arne rendered homage in 1296 (Bain, II, p. 202). Robert Grimbalde of Berwickshire also rendered homage (ibid., p. 207).
