In 1711 Alexander Crosert. merchant, in Bo'ness, formerly of Rotterdam, was granted disposition of Logie. In 1714 Alexander Grosert granted the fee of the lands to his grandson, Walter, who was collector of customs at Alloa, and died in 1760 (Stephens, Inverkeithing, p. 203—204). Rev. Alexander Balloch Grosart (1827—1899) was an editor of reprints of rare Elizabethan and Jacobean literature.
