Until the expansion of Islam under the leader of Umar, Islam heavily influenced the Arab nations. This influenced many people in many centuries to move to Mecca and Medina (Modern day Saudi Arabia). This was a much easier migration due to how close Medina is to Egypt and Lebanon.
A village in Lebanon named "Zouq Haddara", which is made up of a majority of Haddaras. Their religion is mainly Islam (Sunni) and a minority of Shia and Catholic.
