John de Inche witnessed a charter by John Ramsay, burgess of Montros in 1430 (REB. II, 34), and William de Inche, 'husband' in the ville de Tullibothy, is in record in 1437 (SCM., V, p. 261). Thomas Insche witnessed an instrument of sasine in the barony of Banff in 1507 (Bamff, p. 45), and Duncan Insche was burgess of Culross, 1652 (Dunblane).
