Keraldus judex witnessed a charter by Randulf de Strathphetham, c 1222 (REB., II, 3). Gilbert, judex, witnessed a charter by Maldoweny, earl of Levenax to the Abbey of Kelso between 1225 and 1246 (Kelso, 220), and Walter, judex, witnessed a quit-claim of the land of Drumkarauch in 1260 (RPSA., p. 346). Ewayn Judex was present at pleas held at Dull in Atholl in 1264 (RPSA., p. 349), and Andrew le Jugeor or le Jugger rendered homage in 1296 (Bain, II, 730,816). His seal bears a head within tracery, and S' Andree Jvdicis (ibid., p. 554).
