Kabu is one of the many names given to a first male child amongst the Kabiawe clan of the Ga-Adangbe tribe of Ghana in West Africa. Kabu means 'big house'. The Ga-Adangbe tribe in modern times are settled on the coast of the Gulf of Guinea in the east of Ghana (Gold Coast), having emigrated from Nubia.
