Rao Kandhal was a younger brother of Rao Jodha who founded the princely state of Jodhpur in western Rajasthan, India. During 1464 to 1485 AD Rao Kandhal established the princely, royal state of Bikaner in northern Rajasthan by helping his nephew Rao Bika. Rao Kandhal died during a war at the age of 74.
