From the old forty-shilling lands of Killoch (1624), Ayrshire, of old extent. John Killock witnessed the tack of Little Mains of Caldwell, 1649 (Caldwell, I, p. 287). Mungo Kelloch was recorded in the parish of Kilmalcome, 1657 (Kilbarchan), and Hellin Kellock was examined for the Test in Tinwald, 1685 (RPC., 3. ser. XI, p. 434).
