It may also be the adjectival form of Maclaren. William Larnach in Stralovh was fined for reset of Clan Gregor, 1613 (RPC., XIV, p. 636). Alexander Miller Larnach, retired postmaster of Huntly, Aberdeenshire, died 1941. The name of William Lurnach, an outlaw of Scotland, in record in 1204 (Annals, p. 345) not likely to be of same origin.
