When the firt Llavaneras came to Venezuela, the inmigration officers were not to capable. So all the inmigrants were asked his/her name and were they came from.

This guy came from Spain at the first 20 years of the 20th century and the inmigration officer asked:

"Your name?"

Answer: "Antonio".

Where are you from: "Llavaneras, España".

So, the officer wrote down: "Antonio DE Llavaneras". From then on, the new name of this guy was Antonio DE Llavaneras that turn into Antonio Llavaneras. (If this guy had had inconvinients with the Spain government, he was more than happy to have a new name).
