Thomas Malitesoun and William Malitesoun appear as witnesses in Aberdeen in 1469 (CRA., p. 406), Willmus Mallyson elected common councillor in Aberdeen, 1475 (Guildry, p. 189), John Malisonne was priest there in 1506 (REA., II, p. 96), and John Maleson of Aberdeen was slain at Pinkie in 1547 (SCM., II, p. 34). Alexander Malysonne admitted burgess of Aberdeen in 1556 (NSCM., I, p. 36) may be the Alexander Malysone who was "fermorar of the tounis tak" in 1574 (CRA., p. 20).
