Thomas McCrery held half a tenement in Dumfries, 1444 (Edgar, p. 225), Luke Makririe was a cook in Edinburgh, 1624 (Edinb. Marr.), and another Lucke McCrerie in Annand was charged in 1628 with resetting a rebel (RPC., 2. ser. II, p. 599).
