John Monachus rendered homage at Berwick, 1291 (RR.), John Mounk was admitted burgess of Aberdeen, 1486 (NSCM., I, p. 32), and Annas Munk or Munke in Dysart was suspect of witchcraft, 1626 (RPC,, 2. ser. I, p. 425).
