Ricardus filius Maud, who appears in Perth in the reign of Alexander II, is most probably the Ricardus filius Matildis, recorded in the following reign (Scon, p. 61, 83). Matilda, wife of Johannes Furbur of Perth, is mentioned about the same time as Ricardus filius Maud (ibid., p. 61), and another Matilda, daughter of Henricus Wyth of Perth is mentioned in reign of David II (ibid., p. 124).
